Spoon Sports
Founded in 1988 Spoon Sports was established by former Honda Race car tester and driver, Tatsuru Ichishima. Its name derives from the famous curve at Suzuka Circuit that, you guessed it, resembles the shape of a spoon. For over 30 years, Spoon has made a name for itself by taking offerings from Honda and improving upon their original blueprint. Spoon's aesthetic has never been to overbuild things for insane power numbers, but to modify from OEM and improve upon the original vision of Honda. Through this methodology, Spoon improves on exterior styling with minor aero parts that don't take away from OEM lines, improves upon engine and transmission pieces through heat treating or other minor changes, and excels at being one of the first brands recognized for their quality by Honda enthusiasts everywhere.
